June 11, 2016; Last day in Denali

Well our last day in Denali was planned for the bus up to the Eilson Visitor's Center. When we did this in 2014, we got very lucky with our driver and the wildlife.

Our driver today "Steve" was in a huge hurry. He finished the day an hour earlier than we did in 2014.

However, we did see quite a few Dall Sheep, Caribou, one Grizzly, an a huge male Moose (no picture unfortunately).

Something very interesting happened on the bus. We picked up a couple at the Savage River Trail. As soon as they got on the bus, the guy said he knew me because he had been following this blog. What are the odds?

Overall, a pretty good day, but a little bit of a letdown.
